Residents agree to uphold these five pillars of participation
Program Commitment
  • Maintain respectful behavior toward all house members
  • Follow house rules and quiet hours
  • Participate in required check-ins or meetings
  • Maintain cleanliness of personal and shared spaces
Financial Responsibility
  • Pay monthly program fees on time
  • Provide verifiable income documentation
  • Notify management of income changes
  • Understand late payment consequences
Conduct & Safety
  • No violence or threats
  • No illegal activity
  • Substance use policies clearly defined
  • Guests policy defined
  • Curfew (if applicable)
Growth Expectations
  • Employment (if able)
  • Income stabilization
  • Benefit enrollment (if applicable)
  • Savings goal participation (optional but powerful)
Termination Policy
  • Repeated rule violations
  • Non-payment
  • Safety threats
  • Illegal activity
  • Clear written warning system (1st → 2nd → final review)

STABILIZE

0–90 Days
Goal: Safety + Routine

  • Weekly check-in

GROW

3–9 Months
Goal: Build Capacity

  • Employment advancement OR benefits maximization
  • Credit repair (if applicable)
  • Savings building
  • Life skills workshops
  • Conflict resolution skills

  • Savings match program (optional)
  • Workforce referrals
  • Certification support

TRANSITION

9–18 Months
Goal: Independent Exit Plan

Focus Areas

  • Secure private housing
  • Build rental history
  • Secure deposits
  • Strengthen budgeting plan
  • Exit strategy meeting

Outcomes

  • Savings secured
  • Income stability achieved
  • Rental references obtained
  • Structured habits established

Intake Screening Standards

You want compassion — but not chaos. Here's the balance.
Basic Requirements
  • Must have verifiable income OR documented pending benefits
  • Must be able to live in shared environment
  • Must not pose safety risk
  • Must agree to structured living
Income Guidelines

Must provide:

  • Pay stubs
  • SSI/SSDI award letter
  • VA documentation
  • Third-party payee letter
Red Flags (Review Required)
  • Recent violent offenses
  • Active substance dependency without support
  • History of disruptive shared housing behavior
  • Refusal to follow structure

Not automatic denial — but review panel decision.

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Motivated to stabilize
  • Has some form of income
  • Open to accountability
  • Seeking transition — not permanent dependency
